His Royal Fluffiness has declared the beige sofa a pyramid and the dark beneath it the Valley of the Kings. Somewhere in that tomb lies the Golden Jerky of Pharaoh Snackhamun, sealed away by one's own paw last Tuesday. Armed with a fedora and an unshakeable sense of destiny, Milo descends into the dust to reclaim it. No one has warned him that the tomb has a guardian, and that it docks at three o'clock.
Milo’s Wisdom
“The true archaeologist does not fear the curse of the tomb. He merely respects it from a greater height. Ideally from a lap, with someone stroking his belly until the curse goes back to its charging station.”

Royal Fact Check
The Catacombs of Anubis at Saqqara hold an estimated eight million animal mummies, nearly all of them dogs. The Egyptians clearly understood that a dog is a sacred being, and one expects the modern household to keep up.
